临床护士疼痛管理核心能力知识水平现状分析
Clinical Nurses' Knowledge of Core Competencies of Pain Management

Abstract
Objective To investigate the current status of clinical nurses ' knowledge of core competencies of pain management. Methods Five hundred and eighty-one nurses in a university-affiliated general hospital were surveyed with the Clinical Pain Knowledge Test (CPKT) developed by Bernhofer et al. The total score and domain scores of core competencies of pain management were compared and analyzed. Results The mean total score of the CPKT was 43.2％correct and domain scores of multidimensional aspect of pain, pain assessment and measurement, management of pain, and knowledge application were 34.1％, 39.5％, 41.0％, and 63.0％ correct, respectively. There was no statistically significant difference in the total score of the CPKT regarding to gender, age, the highest level of education, professional title, and years of nursing experience. Those who received more pain training in the recent two years and used pain assessment tools in more patients scored higher (P<0.05). Conclusion Clinical nurses' knowledge of the core competencies of pain management is inadequate. Pain specialty training and clinical practice need to be strengthened to improve clinical nurses' competencies of pain management.关键词
