摘要

Abstract

The effect of gelatin on the process of zinc electrowinning in ammonia complex system was studied ,and the influences of gelatin concentrations on the average cell voltage ,current efficiency , power consumption and macroscopic morphology of the cathode zinc were investigated .The results show that the current efficiency is effectively improved ,the power consumption was obviously reduced and the deposited zinc is more smoothy and compact .The current efficiency is up to 91 .09% ,average cell voltage is lower than 2 .96 V ,and low energy consumption of 2641 kW · h/tZn is obtained under the condition of optimum gelatin concentration of 25 mg/L .
