Influence of self-efficacy and medical coping style on quality of life in patients with TACE: a path analysis

Abstract
Objective:To explore the influence of general self-efficacy and medical coping style on quality of life (QOL) of patients with intranscatheter hepatic arterial chemoembolization (TACE) and to analysis the influence path.Methods:A total of 112 patients with TACE were recruited from a Grade A Tertiary hospital of Chengdu during June 2016 to December 2016 by convenience sampling method.Patients were investigated by the general Self-Efficacy Questionnaire (SEQ),Medical Coping Modes Questiormaire (MCMQ),and Functional Assessment of Cancer Therapy-general (FACT-G).The SPSS 17.0 software and AMOS 22 software were used for statistical analysis.Results:The QOL score for patients with TACE was (61.204± 14.10) points;general self-efficacy,positive coping style,and negative coping style in TACE patients entered the multiple regression equation;self-efficacy influenced the QOL of TACE patients directly and indirectly;positive coping style and negative coping style influenced QOL directly.Conclusion:QOL of patients with TACE maintained a moderate level.Patients' general self-efficacy,positive coping style,and negative coping style were the important influencing factors for enhancing QOL of TACE patients.关键词
