Abstract
Objective This paper is to observe the changes of Apelin-13 level in patients with acute cerebral infarc-tion and its clinical significance .Method Select 82 cases of patients with first onset acute cerebral infarction ( ACI) in the department of neurology of the Benxi Central Hospital from 2016 .08 to 2017 .10 .Another 30 cases of normal subjects were selected as a control group .The serum Apelin-13 level was detected by ELISA assay on the day 1 d,7 d and 14 days after admission.In the case group,the correlation of serum Apelin-13 level with NIHSS score,infarction site and area size was analyzed .At the same time in the case group homocysteine levels were measured 1 day after admission ,to observe the difference between the control group .Results The levels of serum Apelin-13 were (25.13 ±1.25) ng/ml、(29.16 ± 1.35)ng/ml、(33.72 ±0.99)ng/ml in the case group in the 1st,7th and 14th day,respectively.And(38.00 ±1.12)ng/ml in the control group at the examination day ,the serum level of case group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). Besides,there was a negative correlation between serum Apelin-13 level and NIHSS scores at the 1st,7th and 14th days of the hospital.Furthermore,there was not any significant correlation between the location of cerebral infarction and Apelin -13 level and Apelin-13 was lower in patients with larger infarction area .Conclusion Apelin-13 is maybe a protective factor for acute cerebral infarction .Serum Apelin-13 levels can be used as a serum marker for the severity degree and prognosis of acute cerebral infarction .关键词
