Abstract

In order to recognize the prevalence status of cow Brucellosis in Jingbian County of Shaanxi Province,a serological investigation was carried out during July to August of 2017. A total of 1227 serum samples were collected from 98 dairy farms and households and detected by three serological methods of the rose bengal plate agglutination test(RBPT),tube agglutination test(SAT)and competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(C-ELISA). The results showed that the group positive rate of Brucellosis was 13.27%,the individual positive rate was 3.50%. Among them,the individual positive rate of backyard households was 7.52%,which was higher than the standard of control area in China. In order to discuss the consistency of the above three detection methods,the results of the three detection methods were compared and analyzed. Results showed that the agreement rate of the three methods of RBPT,SAT and C-ELISA was higher than 99%,and theKappavalue was larger than 0.90,indicating a good consistency. Therefore, during the process of surveillance and purification of cow Brucellosis,combined application of the three detection methods could effectively reduce the probability of false positives and negatives,accurately identify the cow infected with wild strains,so as to reduce the mistaken and omissive slaughtering.
