摘要

Abstract

During the development of die castings such as aluminum alloy base, the die casting process was simulated and optimized by the InteCAST software. The results show that the original scheme in which the molten aluminum was filled with one ingate easily causes air entrapment and entrapped slag at the bottom of the aluminum alloy base and in the top cylinder of the base. However, the optimization scheme in which an auxiliary ingate is added is more reasonable, and the above casting defects in the original scheme may be effectively avoided. In actual production, the qualified rate of castings is above 98%.
