Abstract
The speed and position estimations are inaccuracy due to the change in the saturation inductance with the current of switched reluctance motor. A method based on six special inductance intersections is proposed for estimating the rotor position of switched reluctance motor. Full-cycle incremental inductance is calculated and the inductance curve is acquired by the injection voltage pulse that is exerted on the non-conducting phase and conduction phase current. The output intersection angle is determined by the adjacent two-phase inductance. The impacts of magnetic saturation on adjacent two-phase inductance intersection are neglectable at low inductance, and the output angle of the intersection is 7.5°, 22.5° and 37.5° respectively. The intersection of adjacent two inductance at high inductance area is influenced by magnetic saturation, and the intersection polynomial fitting method is used to obtain the relationship between the intersection angle and current function. Intersection position is obtained by the actual sampling current and the speed and position is estimated at any time. Finally, the estimation method is verified at inertial operation, light load, heavy load, load mutation and high speed by simulations and experiments.关键词
