Effects of Mycotoxins on Intestinal Mucins and Its Action Mechanism

Abstract
Mycotoxins are secondary metabolites produced by fungi in the field of cereal growth,harvest and storage or processing which is widely found in feed ingredients and human food.Mycotoxins not only reduce the quality of feed,but also seriously damage the health of animals,reduce animal production performance;its residues in animal products have a serious threat to human health.A large number of studies have shown that mycotoxins can damage the intestinal mucosal barrier,affecting the composition of intestinal flora,regulate intestinal immune response,induced intestinal lesions and finally causing intestinal inflammation.The mucins secreted by intestinal goblet cells,the main component of the mucus layer function as the intestine innate immune first defense line.Intestinal mucins play an important role in maintaining the dynamic balance of the intestinal mucosa and regulating the microbial-host immune response.The effects of mycotoxins on intestinal mucins and underlying mechanism were reviewed in this paper,which provided a theoretical basis for further researches in this field.关键词
