Regulation and Mechanism of Chitosan and Its Derivatives on Lipid Metabolism

Abstract
Chitosan and its derivatives are bioactive groups containing amino and hydroxyl groups, and can be used in animal diets to regulate lipid metabolism. This review summarizes the metabolic kinetics of chitosan and its derivatives and their regulation on lipid metabolism, which involve in lipid binding, the inhibition of pancre-atic lipase, as well as the regulation of adipocytokines, the activity of enzymes related to lipid metabolism and their gene expression, adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase activity and transcriptional factors of lipid synthesis, with the aim of providing the oretical basis for exploring the mechanism of chitosan and its de-rivatives affecting lipid metabolism, and the regulation of lipid metabolism.关键词
