Abstract
Objective:To investigate the effect of teach-back method on binocular visual function in children with intermittent exotropia after surgery.Methods:72 children with intermittent exotropia treated in our hospital from August 2014 to December 2016 were recruited,and were randomly divided into a control group and an observation group,with 36 cases in each group.The children in the control group underwent conventional visual training after surgery,and those in the observation group were training by teach-back method.The frequency of training,visual self training scores and family vision training knowledge test scores were recorded.The visual fusion,stereo vision and NCS score were compared before and after training.Results:The frequency of training,visual training self rating and family visual training knowledge test scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).After visual training,fusion value was increased,while stereoacuity was decreased in the observation group,compared with the control group(P<0.05).NCS score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:Teach-back method combined with visual training could improve training compliance and binocular visual function in children with intermittent exotropia.关键词
