Offshore Area Satellite Remote Sensing Images Location Method Based on Coastline Feature Matching

Abstract
Aiming at the information lack of satellite orbit, sensors attitude and so on, an offshore area satellite remote sens-ing images location method based on coastline feature matching was presented. First, seacoast interactive extraction of im-ages to be located was done by the extending application of Live-Wire algorithm. Then, the curve form ideograph was im-proved to adapt seacoast line feature, and an optimized cure matching algorithm based on the ideograph was designed to re-alize seacoast curve matching. Finally, offshore area location of satellite remote sensing images was implemented by com-putting transform matrix according to the matching results. Localization experiments using LandSat and SPOT images indi-cated that the algorithm was efficient.关键词
