Abstract

The common buckwheat cultivar Fengtian No.1 was used as a test material to study the effect of different nitrogen treatments (0,50,100,150 kg/ha,expressed as CK,LN,MN and HN,respectively) on rhizosphere soil nutrient,root morphology,plant agronomic traits,and yield of common buckwheat,so as to provide theoretical basis for the high-yield cultivation.The results showed that with the increase of the application amount of nitrogen,the contents of available nitrogen,available phosphorus and available potassium initially increased and then decreased,available nitrogen and available phosphorus contents were the highest in the treatment of MN,and the available potassium content was the highest in the treatment of LN;whereas pH value and the content of organic matter initially decreased and then increased,they were all the highest in CK,followed by HN treatment.The root length,root superficial area,root volume and root average diameter of common buckwheat initially increased and then decreased with the increase of the application amount of nitroge,they were all the smallest in CK,and the root length,surface area,and volume were the largest in the MN treatment,and the average diameter was the largest in the LN treatment,but there was no significant difference with the MN treatment.The plant height,1-to 2-internode length,1-to 2-internode diameter,branch number of main stem and yield of common buckwheat initially increased and then decreased with the increase of the application amount of nitrogen,they were all the highest in the MN treatment;whereas the cotyledon node height was significantly decreased with the increase of the application amount of nitrogen.The yield of common buckwheat increased first and then decreased with the increase of nitrogen application rate,the MN treatment was the highest,the LN treatment was the second,the CK was the lowest,the MN treatment was 66.22% higher than that of the CK,and the difference between treatments was significant.The correlation analysis showed that there was a highly significant positive correlation between the yield of common buckwheat and the length of roots,plant height,and internode thickness of 1-2 nodes,and there was a significant positive correlation between the yield of common buckwheat and the root surface area and number of branches of main stem.
