Abstract
Objective:To investigate the clinical effect of orthodontic combined with periodontal regeneration in pa-tients with periodontitis. Methods:One hundred patients with periodontitis admitted to hospital from June 2015 to December 2017 were divided into control group( n=50 ) and observation group ( n=50 ) according to different treatment methods. The control group was treated by orthodontics,and the observation group was treated on the basis of the control group in combina-tion with periodontal tissue regeneration. X-ray was used to measure the angle of the sella center,nasal root point and upper alveolar septum(SNA),the nasal point to inferior vena cava angle with the anterior skull base plane(SNB)and the upper alveolar seated point and the nasal point angled to the lower alveolar seated point( ANB) 6 months after the treatment. The visual analogue scale(VAS)was used to measure the changes of pre-treatment,post-treatment 1 month,3 months and 6 months of pain were recorded. The gingival index(GI),sulcus bleeding index(SBI),dental plaque index(PLI),periodontal pocket probing depth( PD) and clinical attachment loss( AL) were recorded before and after treatment. The clinical efficacy and VAS score of two groups were compared. Results:The therapeutic effect of oral orthodontics combined with periodontal regeneration 6 months after treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0. 05). The pa-rameters of SNA,SNB and ANB in the observation group and the control group at 6 months after treatment were both lower( P<0. 05). The parameters of SNA,SNB and ANB in observation group at 6 months after treatment were lower than those in control group(P<0. 05). The pain scores of VAS in observation group and control group at 6 months after treatment were both lower(P<0. 05). The VAS pain scores of the observation group at 1 month,3 months and 6 months after treatment were lower than those of the control group(P<0. 05). The scores of GI, SBI, PLI and AL in the observation group and the control group were lower than those before the treatment, and the scores of GI, SBI, PLI and AL in the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0. 05) for 6 months after treatment. Conclusion:Orthodontics combined with periodontal regeneration in patients with periodontitis can improve the periodontal function of patients and reduce the pain,which is wor-thy of clinical application.关键词
