Socialist Ecological Civilization:Connotation, Value, Cultivation and Practice

Abstract
In his report delivered at the 19th Communist Party of China National Congress, General Secre-tary Xi Jinping raised the concept of ″socialist ecological civilization″for the first time to the level of impor-tant cultural values to guide its construction. The proposal of this concept is the result of combining the es-sence of Chinese traditional ecological culture and promoting practical ecological cultivation;the logical evo-lution of the deep understanding and profound interpretation on human-nature relation and human-society re-lation. This shows that the Chinese Communist Party has reached a new height in its understanding of the concept of ecological values and the practice of ecological values. In order to promote the study of socialist ecological civilization theory and ecological governance practice and build China into a prosperous, demo-cratic, civilized, harmonious and beautiful socialist modernized country, as well as to promote global eco-logical governance and building a beautiful world, we should fully understand the profound connotation of the concept, grasp its great value, conscientiously cultivate and strive to implement it.关键词
