摘要

Abstract

Catecholborane(HBcat)can be prepared with several methods.It is stable,easy for storage,and can react with olefins and alkynes quickly under mild conditions.During the hydroboration process,it not only shows the characteristics of high selectivity and stereoselectivity,but also functionalizes and radicalizes easily,so it has been widely used in hydroboration and reduction reactions.In this paper,the synthesis methods and properties of catecholborane were briefly summarized,and the application of catecholborane and its derivatives in hydroboration,reduction,deoxygenation and free radical reaction are detailedly introduced.The prospect of catecholborane and its derivatives in organic reaction are also discussed.
