基于空间计量的地级市政府间城镇化竞争分析
Analysis of urbanization competition among governments based on spatial econometric models

Abstract
Urbanization,which is an important engine of local economic growth and the center of economic transformation,has an great significance influence to the sustainable development of urban economy.And driven by such factors as assessment system and free flow of resources,local governments are keen on stimulating investment through urbanization,so that urbanization competition is inevitable.Based on the panel data of 278 prefecture-level cities from the year of 2005 to 2014,the general spatial autoregressive model and the two-region autoregressive model were used to test the differences of the urbanization competition between the prefecture-level municipalities.The results show that there is a competitive urbanization between the municipalities of the prefecture-level municipalities,that is,a city to promote urbanization will drive the competitive competitiveness of neighboring cities to promote urbanization.The degree of industrialization has a significant impact on the differences in urbanization competition.The urbanization of urban land is lower than that of urbanization,and the urbanization of urban population with high degree of industrialization is higher than that of city with low degree of industrialization.Science and technology education expenditure will form a extrusion effect on urbanization,and reduce the level of competition.The level of urbanization competition of provincial capital city is higher than that of non-capital city,and there is no significant difference in land urbanization competition level;The level of urbanization competition in the eastern coastal areas is higher than that in the central and western regions,while the land urbanization competition level of the latter is higher than that of the former.The conclusion shows that the cities in economically backward areas emphasize the urbanization of land and has a low level of population urbanization,leading to population urbanization and land urbanization imbalance.The government should weaken the dependence on land urbanization and improve the competitiveness of population urbanization.Accordingly,the paper puts forward several suggestions:the government in the underdeveloped area should weaken its reliance on the urbanization of the land and enhance the competitiveness of the urbanization of the population.The government should weaken the performance appraisal system with GDP growth and build a diversified and comprehensive performance evaluation mechanism.Local governments should adhere to the rational and orderly urbanization and realize the coordinated development of land urbanization and population urbanization.关键词
