Internal Fixation Combined with Vertebral Airbag Filling Artificial Bone Meal in Treatment of Single Segmental Lumbar Fracture

Abstract
Objective To observe the clinical effect of internal fixation combined with vertebral balloon filling artificial bone meal in the treatment of single segment lumbar fracture. Methods A total of 70 patients with lumbar vertebrae fractures were collected. The patients were divided into two groups: observation group and control group according to random number table method. The patients in control group were given simple internal fixation treatment and those in observation group were given internal fixation combined with vertebral balloon filled with artificial bone meal treatment. The height of the anterior margin of the injured vertebrae and the Cobb angle of the injured vertebra were observed and compared between the two groups before and after treatment. The incidence of complications was statistically analyzed. Results The height of the anterior margin of the injured vertebrae in both groups was significantly higher than that before operation (P <0.05), and the observation group was (30.81±3.19) mm, which was significantly higher than that of the control group (26.20±4.21) mm (P <0.05). Cobb angle of injured vertebra in both groups was significantly smaller than that before operation (P <0.05), and the observation group was (4.78±0.79)°, which was significantly smaller than that in the control group (7.78±2.40)° (P <0.05). The degree of postoperative Cobb angle in observation group was (3.05 ± 2.53)°, which was significantly smaller than that in control group (5.30±2.21)° (P <0.05). In the observation group, the angle of Cobb angle loss was (1.60±0.19)° at 3 months and the angle of Cobb angle loss at 6 months after operation was (2.39±0.40)°, which were significantly smaller than those of the control group (5.48 ±1.37)°,( 7 . 56 ± 1 . 80 )° (P < 0 . 05 ). The Cobb angle of the observation group did not lose one year after the operation, but the control group still lost. Conclusion For patients with single segment lumbar vertebrae fractures, internal fixation combined with vertebral balloon filled with artificial bone meal can effectively restore the vertebral mechanical strength, reduce the height and then lose, reduce the risk of internal fixation and rupture and other complications.关键词
