摘要
Abstract
In addition to generating antibodies, B lymphocytes also activate the immune system by producing cytokines and antigen presentation. The B lymphocytes which exert immunosuppressive function through different regulatory mechanisms, are known as regulatory B cells ( Breg) . The main mechanism of Breg's inhibitory effect is to secret interleukin ( IL) -10. Recent studies have shown that interleukin ( IL) -35 secreted by Breg cells plays an immunosuppressive role as well. It has also been suggested that Breg cells play a crucial role in maintaining the balance of natural killer ( NKT) cells in vivo. A number of Breg subpopulations have been identified through experimental and clinical studies on autoimmune diseases, which exhibit different mechanisms of immunosuppression. This article describes the latest research progress in different Breg subtypes of mice and humans and their different mechanisms of inhibition in different animal models and disease conditions.关键词
