Central nervous system involvement in primary Sj?gren syndrome
摘要
Abstract
Primary Sj?gren Syndrome ( pSS) is an autoimmune disease mainly involving the exocrine glands, leading to sicca symptoms and other complications. With studies on epidemiology, pathophysiology, and histopathology of pSS, peripheral nervous system ( PNS) involvement has been widely described, but central nervous system ( CNS) manifestations are still unknown. Nevertheless, CNS involvement in pSS ( CNS-SS) is getting more and more consern recently. Moreover, CNS-SS is easily misdiagnosed for its complexity of patho-genesis and diversity of manifestations. Herein, we review and summarize the progresses in pathological mechanism, clinical manifestations, differential diagnosis, and treatment of CNS-SS.关键词
