血清NY-ESO-1自身抗体在乳腺癌中的诊断价值
Diagnostic value of autoantibody against NY-ESO-1 for breast cancer
摘要
Abstract
Objective To assess the diagnostic value of serum autoantibody against NY-ESO-1 in patients with breast cancer. Methods Levels of serum autoantibody against NY-ESO-1 were detected for 125 patients with breast cancer, 33 patients with benign breast tumor and 116 healthy controls by using enzyme linked immunosorbent assay ( ELISA) . Results The serum levels of au-toantibody against NY-ESO-1 were significantly higher in breast cancer than those in benign breast tumor and in healthy controls ( P<0. 05) . Based on a cut-off value of 0. 226, measurement of au-toantibody against NY-ESO-1 provided an area under the curve of 0. 575 ( 95％ confidence interval:0. 695—0. 816) , a sensitivity of 31. 2％ and a specificity of 96. 6％. Importantly, autoantibody a-gainst NY-ESO-1 could differentiate breast cancer from benign breast tumor with an area under the curve of 0. 629 (95％confidence interval:0. 531—0. 728), a sensitivity of 31. 2％and a specificity of 87. 9％. Conclusion Autoantibody against NY-ESO-1 has diagnostic value for breast cancer, and has potential to be used as a diagnostic biomarker for breast cancer.关键词
