Abstract

Based on the inhomogeneous deformationdetail and construction detail, and mechanism of joint separation before and after positive and negative bending moments, mechanical characteristics of the joint before and after joint separation with positive and negative moments were analyzed. Nonlinear analytic formulas for tensile stiffness and rotation stiffness of the transverse joint before and after joint separation with positive and negative moments and linear analytic formulas for compressive stiffness and shear stiffness were obtained. On this basis, the relationship between rotation angle and bending moment of both linear joint and the nonlinear joint models under conditions of different segment thicknesses and bolt grades was obtained, and internal force and deformation characteristics of both linear joint model and the nonlinear joint models were compared and analyzed. The results show that bending stiffness of the joint increases with the increase of segment thickness, and bending stiffness of the joint changes after joint separation. However, distributions of bending stiffness of the joint with different segment thicknesses are approximately the same. With the increase of bolt grade, rotation angle and bending moment of the joint separation increase gradually. The moment increment of each grade bolt with positive bending moment is larger than that of negative bending moment, but the angle increment of each grade bolt with positive bending moment is smaller than that of negative bending moment. The bending moment of tunnel segment decreases with the increase of bolt grade under the load. The increase of bolt grade has little influence on the axial force of both linear and nonlinear models. Change of segment thickness has little effect on the shear force of both linear and nonlinear model, but the shear force of both linear and nonlinear model segment decrease with the increase of bolt grade.
