Abstract
A 3D sound source localization algorithm based on microphone array space searching is proposed to supervise the illegal car horn. The number of microphone is determined by computer simulation. The first step is to estimate the time delay between arbitrary two microphones in the array using the generalized cross correlation (GCC) method. Then, with the estimated time delay, the space searching method based on 5-microphone array is used to localize the sound source. To verify the algorithm, a point source localization system in 3D space is established to locate the car horn. Experimental results show that the proposed algorithm can effectively locate the car horn.关键词
