An Online Secondary Path Modeling Algorithm based on Gradient Descent for Active Noise Control

Abstract
Aim at the problems of the low modeling accuracy of the secondary path and the interference between modeling signal and control signal in the feedforward active noise control system, an online secondary path modeling algorithm based on gradient descent for active noise control is proposed. In the modeling process, the convergence factors in the active control process and the modeling process are adjusted successively according to the error energy ratio of the two processes to reduce the interference between the two processes. The gradient descent method is introduced to adjust the convergence factors in the modeling process. The detection threshold is set for the step size. When the step size reaches the threshold, the convergence factors will be adjusted according to the gradient descent. The simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can achieve a faster modeling convergence speed and lower steady-state error than the existing algorithms for the active control of mixed signals. And the proposed algorithm also improves the noise reduction of the active control systems.关键词
