Abstract

A load spectrum acquisition system is built. The load spectrums of four different loading cars are collected according to the test standard, and the acceleration signals of the vehicle body for different strengthened road surfaces are extracted accurately. On this basis, the acceleration root mean square (RMS) of each tested vehicle is calculated in the time domain, and the values of the RMS of the provided ground rough roads relative to the RMS of the normal road are obtained. According to the wheel-body double mass vibration model, the influences of vehicle speed, road surface condition and vehicle load on the body's RMS acceleration are analyzed. The results show that the RMS values and the RMS relative values of the acceleration are greatly influenced by the strengthened road surface condition in a certain range, linearly correlated with the speed of the vehicle, and negatively correlated with the load. They decrease with the increasing of the load and vary slightly under the low load. This conclusion can provide a basis for vehicle performance evaluation and load selection.
