摘要

Abstract

Based on acoustic-structure coupling method, underwater noise radiation prediction models of a twin-sphere structure and a twin-hull craft are established respectively. The underwater noise characteristics in the near fields of the two structures under single-side or double-side excitations are analyzed. Study shows that the behavior of underwater noise radiation of the twin-sphere structure and the twin-hull craft is quite different from the single hull ship. Due to the existence of twin hulls of the craft, the underwater sound radiation varies greatly especially in the near field. The sound changes severely when standing wave appears in the region between the twin hulls if the distance of bilateral hulls and sound wave length satisfies certain conditions at certain frequencies This phenomenon will cause the noise bright point and a remarkable difference of characteristics of underwater noise in near field between a catamaran and a single-hull craft.
