Abstract

The geological conditions of Daqing deep gas reservoir are extremely complex,the physical properties of the reservoir are rather poorer and the low porosity and extra-low permeability are the main types,the reservoir is developed by the straight wells with rather lower individual well production,lower level of reserves developed degree,so the effective development is rather difficult.In order to explore the effective developing mode of this kind of the gas reservoir,the developing tests of the complex structure wells have been carried out since 2005,by means of more than ten years' exploration and researches,the optimized design method for many well locations were developed and initiated.Nowadays,the complex structure wells have been applied in each well block of the deep gas reservoir and the application scale is expanding year by year;the reservoir has been gradually extended from the single volcanic reservoir to dense/tight conglomerate and sandy conglomerate;the obvious incremental effects have achieved.The development practice confirms that complex structure wells have become the main type of the well for increasing the individual well production and reserves developed degree,and moreover enhancing the rapid production in the new block,further potential tapping and deploying in the old block,and realizing the economic and effective development of the gas reservoir.
