Body composition of four Mongolian groups in the three northeastern provinces
摘要
Abstract
Objective:To explore the body composition of four Mongolian groups in the three northeastern provinces.Methods:Harqin Left Wing Mongolian adults (males:136,females:272),Fu Xin Mongolian adults (males:158,females:246),Qian Gorlos Mongolian adults (males:177,females:224),Duerbote Mongolian adults (males:85,females:154)were randomly selected in Liaoning,Jilin and Heilongjiang provinces.Their body composition was checked by bioelectrical impedance analysis.All the results were input into the SPSS 18.0 statistical package and processed by statistical analysis.Results:The body mass index value of four Mongolian groups was beyond the normal range.The body fat percentage of four Mongolian males was 20％ higher,showing mild obesity.The body fat percentage of four Mongolian females was 35％ higher,showing moderate obesity.The visceral fat level of Fu Xin Mongolian males was in the normal range,and that of the the other three male Mongolian groups was higher than the normal value,and that of the females was in the normal range.Body muscle mass of four Mongolian groups was muscular and bone mass of four Mongolian groups was high.Conclusion:The four Mongolian groups present the characteristics of higher body fat,well-developed muscles and higher bone mass.关键词
