摘要

Abstract

In order to analyze the drying characteristics of oil palm frond,oil palm frond was dried with an electric drying oven with forced convection.The main influencing factor (treating method,initial moisture content and air temperature)on the drying time was investigated.The results showed that the treating method and air temperature showed a high significant effect on the drying time,while a significant effect on initial moisture content.The drying time could be shortened by compressing with skin off and increasing air temperature.The best drying process of oil palm frond was compressed with skin off to initial moisture content less than 50% and air dried at 130 ℃.
