Abstract
With apriority of green transportation and the opening of the riverfront public spaces along Huangpu River,there will be a striving need for a non-motorized transportation system across the Huangpu River in Shanghai.Basing on historical reviews and cases studies,this research mainly focuses on the possibility of transforming the bridges as parts of the non-motorized transportation system in Shanghai urban area.From the perspective of historical origin,engineering technology and operation management,both the challenges and possible solutions are discussed,to provide references on the issue of establishing an integrated non-motorized transportation system over the Huangpu River in the long run.关键词
