Abstract
Modern trams have gained momentum in China in recent years.However,as a hybrid mode of transportation,its applicability varies widely in different regions.This study attempts to quantify the scope and use of this mode of transportation.By introducing the location entropy and value function,the types of cities and modes of transportation are quantified and rated.Then the multiple regression function for positioning and calculation is established with such dependent variables as population,economic level,city scale,type of city.The calculation results can be plugged in the rating system to predict different function orientation of modern tram system and Ruzhou city is taken as an example in this regard.The conclusion of the study may provide a certain reference for the design of modern tram.关键词
