Abstract
Objective To explore the incidence of related complications in cardiac surgery patients assisted by intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) and analyze the risk factors and preventive measures.Methods The clinical data of 125 patients with IABP assisted cardiac surgery were analyzed retrospectively.The incidence of IABP related complications was statistically analyzed and single-factor and multiple-factor logistic regression analyses were carried out.Results Among the 125 cases,36 cases (28.8％) had perioperative IABP related complications,and there was no significant difference in the incidence of related complications before,during and after different periods of the IABP assisted cardiac surgery (P ＞ 0.05).Being ≥ 65 years old,being complicated with diabetes,the IABP duration ≥ 32 h,the application of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO),and being complicated with peripheral vascular disease assisted by IABP were independent risk factors for IABP related complications in the patients undergoing cardiac surgery (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion Being ≥ 65 years old,being complicated with diabetes,the IABP duration ≥ 32 h,being complicated with peripheral vascular disease,and the application of ECMO are independent risk factors for IABP related complications in the patients undergoing cardiac surgery.High risk patients should be closely monitored clinically in order to reduce the incidence of perioperative complications.关键词
