Study of English Multi-dimensional Analysis
摘要
Abstract
Multi-dimensional Analysis(MDA)is known as a new corpus-based method effective in text analysis taking advantage of computer-based statistical technology. The paper tends to give a thorough elaboration on how MDA has been applied in various linguistic researches including text features exploitation, register variation as well as interlanguage studies, hence revealing its sheer strengths of being comprehensive, efficient and objective against conventional socio-linguistic research techniques. In addition, it gives a full investigation on some disput-able issues in terms of the model design, and points out that MDA could be perfected by including as comprehen-sive linguistic features as possible, further simplifying operational tools, and deepening integration with conven-tional sociolinguistics.关键词
