摘要

Abstract

Objective To investigate the effects of apigenin on renal metabolic status and its possible mechanism in obese rats. Methods All 4-week-oldmale SD rats were randomly divided into Con group and HFD group. The HFD group was fed with high-fat diet for 12 weeks, then divided into Apigenin group and Obesity group randomly. The Apigenin group wastreated with apigenin 40 mg/( kg·d) for another 4 weeks. The Con and Obesity groups of rats were received 0.9% normal saline in the meantime. Western blot and immunohistochemical were used for pro-tein expression assays. Results ① After 4 weeks apigenin treatment, the rat weights were decreased compared with Obesity group(t=1.80,P=0.096), but the difference was not statistically significant. ②DHE staining was used to evaluate the O2- formation in the kidney. In apigenin group, the content of O2- was decreased distinctly compared with Obesity(t=2.79,P=0.049). ③ The protein expression of p-P67 and p-p65 were decreased com-pared with Obesity (P<0.05) after apigenin treatment. ④ LC3BII/LC3BI and Beclin1 protein levels in kidney were increased significantly compared with the other two groups after apigenin treatment(P<0.05). Conclusion Apigenin alleviates the obese rats renal oxidative stress and inflammation state, which may be related to the activa-tion of autophagy pathway.
