五味子酸性多糖对酒精诱发的小鼠急性脑损伤脑组织中SOD,MDA的影响
Effects of Schisandra chinensis Acidic Polysaccharide on the SOD Activity and MDA Content in the Brain Tissue of Mice with Alcohol-induced Acute Brain Injury

Abstract
Objective To establish an acute brain injury model in mice with 50% alcohol(12mL/kg),and to observe the effects of Schisandra chinensis acidic polysaccharide ( SCAP ) on the superoxide dismutase ( SOD) activity and malondialdehyde ( MDA) content in the model mice. Method Fifty mice were randomly divided into normal control group (CON),model group (MOD),low-dose SCAP group(L,5 mg/kg SCAP),moderate-dose SCAP group (M,10 mg/kg SCAP) and high-dose SCAP groups(H,20 mg/kg) . Mice in the SCAP groups were given the corresponding doses of SCAP once daily,successively for 15 d,and those in the control and model groups were given the same volume of distilled water in the same way. One hour after the last administration,mice in the model and SCAP-treated groups were given 12 mL/kg of 50% alcohol,respectively,while those in the normal control group were given the same volume of distilled water. Twelve hours later,the mice were fasted and then their brain tissues were taken. The SOD activity and MDA content in the brain tissues were measured. The antioxidant activity of SCAP was measured by linoleic acid-ferric thiocyanate method and the reduction activity of SCAP was measured by Oyaizu method. Results Compared with the model group, SCAP could significantly increase the activity of SOD and decrease the content of MDA in the brain tissue ( P<0. 05 ) . The oxidation inhibition rate of SCAP on the linoleic acid system was stronger than that of vitamin E, indicating that the reducing capacity of SCAP should be stronger than that of vitamin E. Conclusion SCAP can protect the brain tissue of mice with acute alcoholic brain injury by its antioxidation through multiple pathways.关键词
