摘要
Abstract
Hybrid (TiB + TiC ) reinforced Ti-1100 matrix composites were in-situ synthesized by common casting and hot working in this work .Microstructures of the TMCs were investigated ,mechanical properties of the matrix alloy and composites were evaluated by tensile tests at elevated temperatures ,and strengthening mechanisms of the TMCs were studied by modeling thoroughly .The results show that ,a model is suggested to predict yield strengths of the TMCs .High-temperature mechanical properties of the composites are much better than that of the matrix alloy .The increase of the yield strength is ascribed to the effects of the solid solution strengthening of carbon ,the load transfer behavior of TiB fibers , and the dislocation strengthening of TiC particles .关键词
