摘要

Abstract

When the wind turbines in the same series branch are operating at different wind speeds,the use of the tradi?tional maximum power point tracking(MPPT)control strategy will lead to over-voltage and over-modulation. To solve this problem,an over-voltage coordination control strategy with MPPT is proposed for the turbines in a series-parallel wind farm. By properly setting the upper limit of direct current(DC)voltage Umax,the output power from turbines at high wind speeds can be coordinated by combining the power-voltage coordination control,which ensures that the DC voltage of turbines can be restricted within a safety range in any operation state. A simulation model was established in the Mat?lab/Simulink platform,and the simulation result were compared between the traditional over-voltage control methods and the proposed strategy in this paper,proving that the proposed strategy was reliable and effective.
