Abstract

With rapid development of renewable energy in Northwest China, lack of renewable energy accommodation and delivery channels leads to severe wind and photovoltaic curtailment. Aiming at situation that renewable energy is rich in resources but limited in accommodation, it is urgent to promote renewable energy accommodation. This paper designed a generation right trade model based on cooperative game theory and analyzed participant benefit change before and after cooperative game. By calculating cases of generation right trade model, this paper compared modified disruption propensity (MDP) indicator values for three allocation strategies, i.e. equal allocation, capacity allocation and Shapley value allocation. Results showed that using Shapley value allocation strategy can achieve balance of interests and all-win conditions. The generation right trade model can alleviate wind and photovoltaic curtailment and provide some practical foundations for renewable energy accommodation and generation right trade.
