复方中草药添加剂对牛乳体细胞数和乳品质的影响
Effects of Compound Chinese Herbal Medicine Additive on Somatic Cell Count and Milk Quality in Milk of Dairy Cows

Abstract
In this paper,the effects of compound Chinese herbal medicine additive on performance of dairy cows and somatic cells in milk samples were researched.To carry out the experiments,49 dairy cows with subclinical mastitis,39 dairy cows with chronic mastitis and 1 91 healthy cows are selected.Then the milk samples are taken before and 30 days after feeding the additive,respectively.Subsequently,we send the samples to the Shaanxi provincial dairy herd improvement (DHI)center to test.More specifically,the milk fat percentage,protein percentage,fat／protein ratio,somatic cell count,urea nitrogen,and within herd grade index (WHI)of each milk sample were analyzed.The results showed that the Chinese herbal medicine ad-ditive had no significant effect on milk yield (P＞0.05).However,the milk fat percentage and protein per-centage,fat／protein ratio,urea nitrogen and WHI were improved significantly (P＜0.05)in the normal range.Moreover,the additive can markedly reduce the number of somatic cells in milk of dairy cows with chronic or subclinical mastitis (P＜0.01).In conclusion,the Chinese herbal medicine additive has signifi-cant effect on improving the performance of dairy cows and reducing the somatic cells in milk of dairy cows with mastitis.关键词
