Advances in Host-pathogen Interactions Using Caenorhabditis elegans as Host Model
摘要
Abstract
Caenorhabditis elegans is a free-living nematode that feeds on bacteria.In 1963,Sydney Brenner began research into neuronal developmen of C.elegans ,which has since been extensively used as a model organism.Now,C.elegans has become an ideal model organism to study animal development,nerve,aging, fat deposition,innate immunity and so on.In recent years,researchers have begun to investigate interaction of pathogens and hosts using C.elegans as host model.Great progress has been made in the molecular mechanism of pathogens and innate immunity of the host.This article summarized the recent advances in molecular mechanism of pathogens and innate immunity of the host using C.elegans as host model.关键词
