Abstract
Objective:To study the effect of surgical timing on the treatment of acute appendicitis.Methods:The clinical data of 236 patients of laparoscopic appendectomy from Jan.2015 to Oct.2017 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the time from pa－tient＇s onset to the operation,patients were divided into early group (＜72 h operation) and delayed group (＞72 h operation),the oper－ation time,intraoperative blood loss ,postoperative gastrointestinal function recovery time ,postoperative hospitalization time ,hospitaliza－tion expense,rate of conversion to open surgery ,complications and so on were compared.Results:There were significant differences in operative time [(42.7±15.4) min vs.(85.1±21.6) min],intraoperative bleeding [(12.1±5.6) ml vs.(26.2±4.2) ml],postop－erative gastrointestinal function recovery time [(1.7±0.9) d vs.(3.8±1.4) d],postoperative hospitalization time [(3.3±1.2) d vs.(7.6±1.8) d],hospitalization expenses [(10 200±1 200) yuan vs.(16 900±1 000) yuan] between early group and delayed group (P＜0.05),but there were no statistically significant differences in conversion to open surgery (0 vs.2) or complications be－tween the two groups (P＞0.05).Conclusions:The operation timing has a direct effect on the treatment of acute appendicitis ,operation time ＜72 h can accelerate the recovery of patients and reduce the patient ＇s pain.关键词
