内脏脂肪指数影响因素的多元线性逐步分析
Multiple linear regression of factors affecting VAI

Abstract
Objective To study the association between visceral adiposity index (VAI) and physical index, and to set up the linear regression equation, which will provide a scientific basis for further prevention and control of chronic diseases. Methods Cluster sampling method was employed to select 1256 college students from Guangdong province, including 430 boys and 826 girls. The data of H, W, WC, HC, UAC, TSF, SSF, ASF and VAI were recorded. The correlation between VAI and BMI, WC, HC, TSF, SSF and ASF were investigated using Pearson correlation test and multiple linear regression (stepwise). Results Pearson correlation test showed that in males, VAI was significantly correlated with A, W, BMI, WC, HC, UAC, TSF, SSF and ASF (P＜0.01); and in the females, VAI was significantly correlated with all the index except for A. Multiple linear regression showed that in males, BMI, SSF and age significantly predicted VAI. While in females, the significant indexes were BMI, WC, and SSF. Conclusion VAI is significantly correlated with BMI, WC, HC. BMI, SSF and etc. can indirectly reflect VAI, which will help to predict the risk of metabolic disease and chronic disease.关键词
