Research Status on Water Absorption and Desorption Properties of Lightweight Aggregate
摘要
Abstract
In recent years, high-performance concrete has been applied more and more in various types of building structures, but self-shrinkage and self-weighting have become the major problems in the application of high-performance concrete, the porous structure of lightweight aggregate ( LWA) has its unique properties compared with ordinary aggregate-absorption and desorption.therefore, the use of pre-wet lightweight aggregate enables water from the LWA to be supplied to the concrete after setting, thereby reducing the effects of self-desiccation.Based on the current domestic and foreign research, this paper reviews the mechanism of internal curing and experiment methods of absorption and desorption on lightweight aggregate. However, there are few researches on the water absorption and desorption characteristics of light aggregate, and the effect of water absorption and desorption on the internal curing of concrete is still under exploration.关键词
