Abstract
Objective: To investigate the status of the sense of meaning of life in patients with oral cancer and to analyze the influencing factors. Methods: A total of 142 patients with oral cancer after operation were investigated by questionnaire of general condition, the patient's sense of life scale, Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) and Social Support Rating Scale (SSRS). Results: The score of the sense of life meaning scale of the patients after oral cancer was 51.68±19.98 and was at a poor level. Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the average monthly income level, postoperative time, SAS, SDS and SSRS were all influencing factors of life meaning, which could explain 84.2％ of variance. Conclusion: The level of life meaning of patients with oral cancer is poor. Medical staff should focus on patients with low income and longer postoperative time, and pay attention to evaluate their psychological status and enhance social support, so as to enhance their sense of life.关键词
