台湾桤木种源/家系苗期变异评价
Genetic Variation and Evaluation of Alnus formosana Provenances and Families during Seedling Stage

Abstract
There were a lot of variation between provenances and families of Alnus formosana with consider-able potential of breeding. Seedling evaluation could offer reference for early selection of superior families of A. formosana. The growth indexes of 7-month seedlings of Alnus formosana within 65 families of 5 provenances were investigated by ANOVA analysis. There were differences or significant differences between provenances and families. Shuangliu and Weizhi provenances were better than the others. Using improved breggin multi-in-dex comprehensive evaluation method, and using seedling height, ground diameter and variable coefficient as evaluation indexes,13 superior families were selected. Their average seedling height and ground diameter were 69.60 cm and 4.19 mm,respectively,which were 12.44%and 10.85%higher than those of the popula-tion,respectively.关键词
