培元通脑胶囊联合他汀类药物治疗肾虚型动脉粥样硬化的疗效
Effect of Peiyuan Tongnao Capsule combined with statins on atherosclerosis of kidney deficiency
摘要
Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Peiyuan Tongnao Capsule combined with statins on patients with atherosclerosis(AS) of kidney deficiency. Methods A total of 120 patients with AS of kidney deficiency were radomly divided into control group and observation group,with 60 cases in each group. Both groups were given simvastatin tablets orally,besides,the observation group was given Peiyuan Tongnao Capsule orally. The traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) symptom efficacy and adverse reactions,as well as vascular structure and TCM symptom score before treatment and at 6 months after treatment, were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment,the TCM syndrome score,carotid intima-media thickness(cIMT) and plaque area decreased significantly in both groups compared to those before treatment,and the indices above in the observation group were lower than those in the control group( all P＜0. 05). The observation group had a better efficacy and a higher total effective rate compared to the control group(P＜0. 05). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence rate of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0. 05). Conclusion On the basis of oral statins, Peiyuan Tongnao Capsule has better clinical efficacy on patients with AS of kidney deficiency, achieving significantly decreased cIMT and plaque area,improved TCM symptom and better safety.关键词
