Effects of Saccharomyces Boulardii Sachets on Serum and Fecal IL-6, TNF-α and IFN-γ in Children with Rota-viral Enteritis
摘要
Abstract
Objective To observe effects of Saccharomyces Boulardii Sachets on serum and fecal interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and interferon-γ (IFN-γ) in children with rotaviral enteritis. Methods A total of 118 children with rotaviral enteritis admitted during June 2015 and April 2017 were divided into study group and control group (n=59 for each group) according to different treatment methods. All patients received conventional treat-ment, and study group was added with Saccharomyces Boulardii Sachets on the basis of conventional treatment, and all patients were treated for 3 d. In two groups, serum and fecal IL-6, TNF-α and IFN-γ levels were observed before and af-ter treatment, and clinical efficacy and incidence rate of adverse reactions were compared. Results The total effective rate in study group was significantly higher than that in control group (P<0. 01). After treatment, serum and fecal IL-6 and TNF-α levels were significantly lower, while IFN-γ levels were significantly higher than those before treatment in the two groups (P<0. 05); in study group, serum and fecal IL-6 and TNF-α levels were significantly lower, while IFN-γ level was significantly higher than those in control group (P<0. 05). There was no significant difference in the total in-cidence rate of adverse reactions between two groups ( P >0. 05). Conclusion Saccharomyces Boulardii Sachets in treatment of children with rotaviral enteritis may achieve good clinical effect and safety, and it can reduce IL-6 and TNF-α levels and improve IFN-γ level.关键词
