摘要

Abstract

The dielectric characteristics of oil-paper insulation and electric field analysis of converter transformer under the condition of low temperature urgently need further study.The research platform of dielectric characteristics of oil-paper insulation under low temperature was set up.By means of experi-mental research method,combined with simulation calculation and theoretical deduction,the change law and mechanism of dielectric characteristics of oil-paper insulation under low temperature were explored, and the insulation margin of converter transformer under cold conditions was deeply analyzed.The exper-imental results show that the dielectric constant of transformer oil increases and the dielectric constant of oil-impregnated pressboard decreases with the decrease of temperature in the temperature range of-50 ℃ to 50 ℃.The influence of temperature on the electrical conductivity of transformer oil is greater than the conductivity of oil-impregnated pressboard.The correlation between electrical conductivity and temperature of oil-impregnated pressboard is in accordance with the thermal ion conductivity equation of non-ionic crystal dielectric.In addition,the influence of low temperature on the insulation margin of converter transformer is simulated and analyzed.The simulation results show that with the decrease of temperature,the insulation margin of power frequency electric field on the verification path increases, while the insulation margin of DC electric field decline.The results help to further understand the dielec-tric phenomenon and the margin variation of oil-paper insulation of converter transformer under low tem-perature.
