Abstract
Objective:To study the effect of mental health education on lactation behavior for maternity patients. Methods: A total of 130 cases of pregnant women who went to our hospital from were selected December 2014 to November 2015, divided into observation group(65cases) and control group(65 cases). The observation group was treateal with mental health education on the basis of routine nursing, while the control group was given only routine nursing. The first breast milk time and Edinburgh Postpartum Depression table(EPDS)of 4 to 6 months infants in the two groups were compared. Results: There was significant difference in the number of people to open milk between the observation group and control group (X2 =19. 747, P<0. 01). In the observation group, the number of people to open milk 1 h to 6 h and 6h to 24 h was bigger The exclusive breastfeeding rate of the observation group were obviously higher than those of the control group(x2 =11. 179, P<0. 01). The total score of the postpartum depression in the observation group was(10. 38±3. 04), while it was(18. 92±3. 74)in the control group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(t =-14. 252, P<0. 05). Conclusion: Targeted mental health education during the pregnant and puerperal period can relieve the postpartum depression, increase breastfeeding rate and improve breast-feeding behavior.关键词
