摘要

Abstract

This paper describes the principle of gradient reduction in railway tunnels, discusses the methods and existing problems of the gradient reduction in railway tunnels, and analyzes the factors affecting the gradient reduction in railway tunnels. It obtains the additional air resistance values of tunnel based on unsteady flow theory test and simulation. Furthermore, it studies on the maximum gradients and charge rules of tunnels under different tunnel lengths, different cross-sectional areas, different locomotive types and different traction masses. The paper proposes an absolute reduction method of tunnel gradient reduction for railway line selection design, which provides a reference for the design practice and theoretical study of gradient reduction of railway tunnels.
