Abstract
Objective To investigate the effect of trimetazidine combined with perindopril on left ventricular systolic function in patients with alcoholic cardiomyopathy. Methods One hundred and thirty-nine patients with alcoholic cardiomyopathy selected from the First Hospital of Yongnian District and the People's Hospital of Guantao from January 2016 to June 2017 were randomly divided into observation group (n=70) and control group (n=69). Patients in control group received oral administration of perindopril based on conventional therapy, while observation group received further added trimetazidine. The total effective rate and left ventricular systolic function indexes were compared at one month after continuous treatment. Results Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the level of systolic blood pressure (SBP), diastolic blood pressure (DBP), heart rate (HR), 6-minute walking distance (6MWD), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular end-diastolic dimension (LVEDD) and left ventricular endsystolic dimension (LVESD) between the two groups (all P > 0.05). After treatment, the level of 6MWD and LVEF of both groups increased significantly, and 6MWD [(517.32±14.93) m vs (439.34±16.57) m, P=0.00] and LVEF [(49.07±9.33)% vs (44.53 ± 8.54)%, P=0.01] of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group; while the level of SBP, DBP, HR, LVEDD and LVESD of both groups decreased markedly, and SBP [(122.77±24.51) mmHg vs (131.40±21.05) mmHg, P=0.03], DBP [(97.51±12.68) mmHg vs (104.23±17.19) mmHg, P=0.01], HR [(72.09 ± 10.52)/min vs (77.62 ± 12.08)/min, P=0.01], LVEDD [(55.81±8.20) mm vs (68.43±11.07) mm, P=0.00] and LVESD [(44.16±4.87) mm vs (50.29±5.33) mm, P=0.00] in observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group. The total effective rate of observation group was significantly higher than that of control group (95.71% vs 79.71%, P < 0.01). Conclusion Trimetazidine combined with perindopril can protect myocardial cell, ameliorate ventricular cavity enlargement and enhance systolic function by depressurization and inhibition of renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, which shows a remarkable effect on alcoholic cardiomyopathy treatment.关键词
